When we joined Plains Power, there were some small savings on offer, but our main drivers were due to them being local and so easy to deal with.

Emma is always available to answer any questions that arise and is proactive in working with us. When Tiwai Point was talking about closing, Plains Power were very proactive in contacting me to discuss the option of forward booking into these rates. We discussed what was happening and why, assessed potential risks (there didn’t appear to be many) and made a call. Their view was they had never seen pricing so cheap, I agreed, and we locked into a 4-year contract. Subsequently, Tiwai point stayed open, and prices skyrocketed. It certainly confirmed the great service Plains Power offer in being proactive and looking out for me as a customer.
